What happens when you combine Disney magic with the magic of the theatre? You get Frozen– the highly anticipated Broadway production making a Philly debut through April 7th. This is the perfect family show and if your kids haven’t been to a Broadway musical yet, this one will certainly make them a theatre fan for life.

You know the story and the songs by Oscar winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT winner Robert Lopez. From “Let It Go”, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman”, the catchy “Fixer Upper” and some new earworms too written just for the stage. Featuring Caroline Bowman as Elsa and Lauren Nicole Chapman as Anna, this story about sisterhood, loyalty and allowing yourself to shine is even more powerful thanks to the outstanding leads.

The sets and special effects are incredible- it’s hard to believe what you’re seeing is taking place in real time. This isn’t Disney animation that takes years to perfect for the screen, it’s all happening in front of you. From the way the stage turns to ice and the way the Olaf (Jeremy Davis) and Sven (Collin Baja and Dan Plehal alternate) are transformed for the stage, don’t be surprised if your jaw is dropping more than the kids!
